Data Deletion

Effective August 2, 2026

Individuals may request deletion of personal information controlled by Lensically by emailing support@lensically.com with the subject Data Deletion Request.

What to include

Do not send passwords, API keys, access tokens, recovery codes, or other secrets.

Identity verification

Lensically may request reasonable evidence needed to verify that the requester is the person connected with the information. This protects customers from unauthorized deletion or disclosure.

What may be deleted

Where applicable, Lensically may delete or anonymize support messages, diagnostic records, customer details, download records, and other personal information under its control that is no longer required.

Records that may be retained

Some purchase, payment reference, license, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and legal records may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required. Deletion from Lensically systems does not automatically delete information independently controlled by Stripe, Cloudflare, GitHub, Meta, OpenAI, a purchaser’s own deployment, or another third party. Requests concerning those services must also be directed to the relevant controller.

Customer-owned deployments

Lensically Operator for Threads is deployed into accounts controlled by the purchaser. The purchaser—not Lensically—controls data stored in that customer-owned repository, Cloudflare account, Meta app, Threads account, or other connected service unless a separate agreement expressly states otherwise.

Completion

Lensically will review verified requests and respond through the support email thread. Requests are handled within the period required by applicable law, subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements.
